THE OCEAN LIFE ASSOCIATION

An Ocean of Life is an eco-citizen project that calls on young and old generations to act in favor of the oceans and their biodiversity by picking up the waste they encounter during trips to the sea or on the beaches.

Qwetch partners with Un Océan de Vie to create the bottle Ocean Lover . At every gourd ocean lover purchased, 2€ are donated directly to the association to support scientific and educational projects.

THE TWO PROJECTS SUPPORTED:

Project n°1: the Maubydick project

The Maubydick project aims to observe sedentary sperm whales off the west coast of Mauritius, in the Indian Ocean. The association draws up identity cards for sperm whales, records their songs, assesses the dynamics of the population in order to provide scientists with data.

PROJECT N°2: AN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM TO PROTECT THE SEA AND OCEANS

The Network of Schools is an educational program to raise awareness among primary classes about the protection of the seas and oceans. The association meets children from primary and secondary schools to make them aware of the beauty of our marine world and its fragility via a web-series produced from images filmed during excursions.
