Lifetime Warranty

Durability is good.
Guaranteeing it is even better.

Your Qwetch comes with a lifetime warranty.

Because at Qwetch, sustainability isn’t just a marketing pitch—it’s our reason for being—we guarantee our water bottles and containers against manufacturing defects for as long as you own them.

This commercial warranty is in addition to your legal warranties and does not replace them.

What Is Covered by the Lifetime Warranty

Only inherent defects affecting the product are covered—not damage resulting from improper use or maintenance.

- Leakage: Leakage through the cap or seal under normal conditions of use - excluding impact or wear and tear.
-> Replacement of the seal or cap, or replacement of the entire product if there is a structural defect.

- Insulation defect: Abnormal loss of thermal performance due to a defect in the inner double wall—excluding impact or drops.
-> Replacement of the entire product (the double wall cannot be repaired)

Products covered:

- All Qwetch insulated containers
- All non-insulated Qwetch containers
- Qwetch co-branded products

The warranty is granted to the original purchaser of the product for its entire lifespan—as long as they remain the owner. It ends if the product is resold or donated.

What Is Not Covered

The lifetime warranty covers defects inherent to the product, not damage caused to it.

The following are not covered:

- Damage caused by a fall or impact (including any resulting loss of thermal performance)

- Normal wear and tear: superficial scratches, signs of use, cosmetic changes, etc.

- Defects resulting from maintenance not performed in accordance with Qwetch’s recommendations

- Repairs performed by an unauthorized third party

- Use of non-genuine accessories

- Use contrary to the manufacturer’s recommendations

- Errors resulting from product customization

- Accessories, replacement parts, and Solid Drinks products

A fall or impact may affect a product’s thermal performance without necessarily indicating a manufacturing defect: such situations are excluded from the lifetime warranty. Please refer to our user instructions to determine what constitutes normal use.

FAQ

What exactly does a lifetime warranty mean? arrow-down

It covers your product against manufacturing defects for your entire lifetime, as long as you are the original owner. If you sell or give away your product, the warranty does not transfer to the new owner.

My bottle has been leaking for a few months - is this covered? arrow-down

It depends on the cause of the leak.

Covered - The leak is due to a defect in the cap or seal that is unrelated to an impact or improper maintenance: covered under the lifetime warranty.

Not covered - The bottle was dropped or subjected to an impact before the leak appeared: the impact may have compromised the seal even though there was no initial manufacturing defect.

Not covered - The cap was placed in the dishwasher contrary to the instructions: thermal deformation is not covered.

My coffee doesn't stay hot as long as it used to. arrow-down

Loss of thermal insulation is covered if it is abnormal and related to a defect in the double wall.

Covered—The bottle has never been dropped, is properly maintained, but is clearly losing its thermal performance: probable double-wall defect; claim accepted.

Not covered - The bottle has been dropped or struck: an impact can create a micro-void in the double wall even without a manufacturing defect.

Not covered - Thermal performance decreases slightly over time: this is normal wear and tear, not covered.

What is the difference between this and the statutory warranty? arrow-down

The legal warranty of conformity covers defects that appear within two years of purchase. Our lifetime warranty goes far beyond that: it covers the same types of manufacturing defects with no time limit, as long as you own the product.
