Recently classed as a purpose-driven company, Qwetch now decorates its insulated bottles in France.
As a purpose-driven company since June 2022, we are committed to improving our product manufacturing practices as well as relocating some production steps, to be as close as possible to our users (where possible). From now on, some of our bottles with timeless designs come straight out of our stocks in France and are decorated in our French workshop in Alsace.

HONOURING FRENCH KNOW-HOW

Since 2016, we have been collaborating with an engraving and printing workshop in Alsace. This long-term partnership has enabled us to customise 100,000 bottles for individuals in 2021 and 200,000 products for companies or other entities since 2019, when we started the “corporate” branch.
Regarding this target, to date, nearly 1,800 companies have used Qwetch’s product customisation services to encourage an ecological transition within their company alongside their employees. It just shows the trust our customers place in us!

It felt obvious to continue this collaboration in 2022 by launching the “Decorated in France” programme. Our workshop in France uses five machines to decorate with UV printing Qwetch products already in stocks, rather than producing new collections ex-nihilo.
As a purpose-driven company since June 2022, we want to relocate some of our product manufacturing steps to France (where possible).
400m2 of the workshop are dedicated to product customisation and 6 full-time employees work on these projects (against only 1 person in 2016). We want to contribute to the creation of economic value in France (nearly € 425,000 have been invested in the machines in our workshop since 2016) and to later relocate other product manufacturing steps (product painting, manufacture of certain bodies of stainless steel products, etc.) or to apply this process to other types of Qwetch container.

We have chosen to drastically reduce the number of our collections (12 collections in Autumn-Winter 2021 against 3 in Autumn-Winter 2022), by better adapting our offer to the demand and optimising the use of resources. The goal is to capitalise on our timeless products to achieve a more minimalist production, generating a minimum of stocks. We will achieve this by decorating in France pre-existing plain products.
Several of our bottles benefit from this “Decorated in France” programme :
You’ve probably recognised our All Black bottle or the Matt White on which we added a coloured pattern. And on top of that, all products decorated in France in the Qwetch workshop were made with less than 0.8 % of waste, one step further in our eco-friendly mission to fight against waste.
