Our new Food Container is the result of long research and development work by our teams and those of Cristel, our French partner and stainless steel expert for over 30 years. The challenge? Offering a high-quality meal box made in France, which is ergonomic, light, 100% airtight and safe, to avoid generating waste during meals on the go.

The “Origine France” certification is the only certificate that ensures a product is of French origin. It guarantees a product’s traceability, giving clear and objective indications of the origin. The Food Container is made in France, in our partner’s factory (Cristel), with 8/10 recycled French stainless steel.
Our Food Container is very clever – and very simple! It consists of just three elements, all of which are washable and replaceable: the bowl, the lid, and the seal. It’s also very light, and quick to open and close, making it very easy to use. Stackable, leakproof, dishwasher and oven safe (just keep it out of your microwave!), it can even be used in a bain-marie. And with a volume of 900 ml, it’s just the right size for a good meal!
Our Food Container is made from 94% recycled, 18/10 French stainless steel, and was designed so that the food inside never comes into contact with the silicone seal. Stainless steel is a safe, non-toxic material, and it won’t alter the organoleptic properties (taste, smell, colour) of the food transported. It’s hygienic, resistant to corrosion and rust, and easy to clean. All you need is a little water and some sodium bicarbonate to bring back its shine.
With its quick closure system, our Food Container is incredibly easy to use. The seal is made in the South of France from high-quality silicone that is sourced from Germany and certified BPA-free. Our R&D teams spent over a year designing and developing this innovative, 100% airtight system.
In 2019, in France alone, over 200 million takeaway meals were delivered, generating over 600 million single-use, disposable containers that were thrown away (according to the website of the French Ministry of Ecology).

In order to create our “100% made in France” Food Container, we called on the expertise of Cristel – a French manufacturer that has been producing kitchen accessories for over 30 years and that is specialised in stainless steel. It is a first in France for a portable product like this, which will appeal to both individual consumers and restaurant owners who would like to offer zero-waste takeaways!
