QWETCH IS B CORP™ CERTIFIED

Qwetch is now officially certified B Corp™ and glad to be part of this exciting community of actors, always searching to improve practises and take care of people and the planet.  After a year and a half of work, questioning and reflection, 10 months of waiting and 2 months of auditing, the verdict has finally fallen: we obtained a score of 96.3 for the B Lab™ Business Impact Assessment (BIA) which measures a company’s entire social and environmental impact.

QWETCH IS DECORATING ITS BOTTLES IN FRANCE

Recently classed as a purpose-driven company, Qwetch now decorates its insulated bottles in France.
As a purpose-driven company since June 2022, we are committed to improving our product manufacturing practices as well as relocating some production steps, to be as close as possible to our users (where possible). From now on, some of our bottles with timeless designs come straight out of our stocks in France and are decorated in our French workshop in Alsace.

COULEURS DE CHINE, A LONG-DATE PARTNER

Qwetch and Couleurs de Chine, hand in hand since the very beginning.
Qwetch has a special relationship with Couleurs de Chine since the director of this humanitarian association has significantly contributed to the brand. This is why Qwetch has been a sponsor and is committed to financing school scholarships for girls from Miao and Dong ethnic minorities in southwestern China for over ten years. For each tea mug purchased, a nod to China and its tea tradition, Qwetch donates a share of its sales to the association as part of its philanthropic policy.

READY TO RAISE AWARENESS AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE ABOUT WASTE?

Qwetch is working alongside the GoodPlanet Foundation and 900.care to launch a pilot educational programme. 
Qwetch is expanding its philanthropic action by co-imagining an educational programme alongside the GoodPlanet Foundation (which raises awareness and carries out field programmes around ecology and living together) and 900.care (a cosmetics brand committed against single-use plastic). The aim is to raise young people's awareness about waste management by transforming them into actors of change. This educational programme is for secondary school students in the South of France (PACA Region) and is supported by the French National Education Ministry. Let’s explain!

Qwetch x Terre d’Abeilles, a new adventure for 2022

Qwetch has joined forces with the NGO Terre d'Abeilles. 

After nearly three years spent with Un Toit Pour Les Abeilles, we are changing partners for our historic sharing product: the Bee insulated bottle. The honeyed love story between Qwetch and bees now continues alongside the NGO Terre d'Abeilles. Everything else, however, remains the same: for each Bee bottle purchased, you will be donating €2 to finance projects committed to the planet (we’ll explain how shortly).

MORE COOKING FOR LESS TRASH

Let's put our rubbish bins on a diet!

According to the ADEME (the French Agency of the Environment and the Control of Energy), a French person produces around 580 kg of household waste each year. Today, more than 3/4 of the waste found in our household waste bins doesn’t need to be there: it could be reused by properly sorting or composting it. And better yet, it could not exist at all! As a little reminder, the best waste is the one that does not even exist!

QWETCH X REEF CHECK, THE CORAL DOCTOR

Qwetch and Reef Check France, sounding the reef together. 
Qwetch has partnered up with Reef Check France to strengthen its action towards protecting biodiversity, and more specifically protecting marine and coral ecosystems. The Reef Check association sounds the reef and seeks to understand how corals and their inhabitants, invertebrates and fish behave, while analysing their health.
