Our story
A nice travel souvenir
Qwetch’s story began when Stéphane Miquel travelled with friends to Danian in China, to meet the head of the humanitarian association Couleurs de Chine. In China, everyone drinks loose leaf tea at any time of the day and especially everywhere: at home, in rice fields, at work, on buses, in parks, alone or with family... Inspired by this culture, he decided to develop the concept of "nomadic tea mugs" upon his return to France. He adapted this traditional container in which Chinese people brew their tea every day to the requirements of Western tea and infusion drinkers. And so Qwetch’s adventure began in 2010!
For the last 10 years, Qwetch has been offering safe and reusable on-the-go food containers allowing people to eat, drink and infuse every day. Containers are designed for those who want to transport their food and drink while avoiding the use of disposable bottles and food packaging.
